OnlineCandidate.com is now inviting writers and bloggers to submit their content in the form of guest post submissions. The OnlineCandidate.com blog features articles about online political campaigning, campaign websites, social media and offline campaign strategies such as yard signs and literature.

Guest posting can act as an online introduction to another blog’s audience. Not only does a post earn a contributor a valuable link back to their site, but it also provides exposure to a potential new audience.

“We often get link requests from vendors and services,” says Shane Daley, Owner of OnlineCandidate.com. “We don’t engage in reciprocal linking, but we are glad to post useful content for our audience and provide credit and links back to the author’s websites.”

Submitted articles should relate to political campaigning, either online or offline. The articles must be informational and non-partisan and over 400 words. Original articles are preferred, but not required.

All new articles and updates are sent to the OnlineCandidate.com email list, posted to Facebook and Twitter profiles, and the article pages are linked from a number of bookmark sites.
“It’s better to reach out to us first with an introduction,” Daley adds. “We prefer to approve the topic rather than accepting a blind submission. Under certain circumstances, we will cross-post material with other sites.”
