Fort Lauderdale, Florida (PRWEB) April 27, 2012
Take Shape Plastic Surgery, P.A., of Fort Lauderdale, FL, is pleased to announce the addition of two plastic surgeons to the clinic staff starting in July, 2012. This will position the clinic to provide micro-vascular hand and breast reconstruction services, complex rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), migraine and labialplasty surgery.
George Dreszer, M.D, M.S., and Christopher J. Low, M.D. each have extensive plastic surgery training including training in hand surgery and micro-vascular surgery.
George Dreszer graduated from Harvard University (B.A.), Georgetown University (M.S.) and Drexel University College of Medicine (M.D.). He then was an intern, resident and administrative chief in general surgery at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in NYC, resident in Plastic Surgery at the New Jersey Medical School and the University of Minnesota School of Medicine where he also served as chief resident.
Dr. Low graduated from Fairfield University (B.S.) and New Jersey Medical School (M.D.). He was intern, resident and chief resident in general surgery at the University of Miami, resident in plastic surgery at Long Island Plastic Surgical Group and is currently a clinical instructor in hand and microsurgery at the University of Alabama.
Dr. Russell F. Sassani, opened Take Shape Plastic Surgery, P.A. as his practice in 2003 and Take Shape Surgery Center, LLC in 2004 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The latter is an onsite ambulatory surgical center, licensed by the Agency for Healthcare Administration, certified by Medicare and nationally accredited by AAAHC.
Dr. Sassani graduated from Rutgers (B.S.) and the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (M.D.). He did a residency and hand surgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, a cranio-maxillofacial fellowship at the University of Miami and a cosmetic surgery fellowship in Miami.
Dr. Sassani states that “with the addition of these two new surgeons, Take Shape Plastic Surgery, P.A. will be positioned to provide surgical services currently hard to find in Broward County.” These services include migraine surgery, complex breast and cancer reconstructions, and complex hand procedures including hand and digit re-attachment surgery. He went on to say, “we will be able to provide an extensive gamut of cosmetic plastic surgery procedures, including labialplasty and complex rhinoplasty surgeries (nose reshaping) currently not offered.”
Westside Regional Medical Center and Plantation General Hospital are in discussions to develop hand and breast centers utilizing the new surgeons. Both hospitals are currently equipped with the necessary instrumentation and surgical microscopes required to perform these intricate and specialized services.
Take Shape Plastic Surgery, PA continues to provide an array of cosmetic plastic surgery services previously available: Breast surgery includes enlargement, lifts and reductions.
