YesStyle, the leading online Asian fashion retailer, announced today its sponsorship of the 10th Korean Music Festival, to be held April 28, 2012, at the storied Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California. The sponsorship marks the second consecutive year that YesStyle partners with the Korean Music Festival to promote Asian culture and talent.

Billed as a multi-generational event, the Korean Music Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2012 with a strong line-up of Korean artists, ranging from top-drawing performers to old favorites. Popular K-pop idol groups g.o.d., MBLAQ and Brown Eyed Girls lead the line-up, followed by singers and performers like Bobby Kim, Buga Kingz, Lena Park, Nam Jin, Im Tae-Kyung, Kim Kyung-Ho, Lee Yong, Love & Peace and Arirang.

In addition to distributing Asian fashion styles globally via its websites, YesStyle seeks to promote Asian lifestyle, culture and talent to a worldwide audience through sponsorships and partnerships with prominent and up-and-coming Asian and Asian-American artists. YesStyle’s roster of sponsored artists include filmmaking group Wong Fu Productions, singer-songwriter Clara C and YouTube singer and musician David Choi.

Joshua Lau, founder and CEO of YesStyle said, “At YesStyle we’ve seen the popularity of Asian fashion rise in parallel with the international profile of Korean Entertainment, so this sponsorship makes complete sense for us. Supporting Asian talents in fashion, entertainment and culture has long been one of YesStyle’s key missions, and that will not change in the future. We’re very happy to be working with the Korean Music Festival once again.”

Organized by The Korea Times, the leading news organization in the Korean-American community, the Korean Music Festival began in 2003 as a centennial anniversary celebration of Korean immigration to the United States. The show has since grown to become one of the biggest annual events in Southern California, featuring top-tier K-pop artists and attracting an increasingly diverse audience. As part of its sponsorship of the festival's 2012 edition, YesStyle held a ticket giveaway for YesStyle customers via Twitter.

Jeff Chang, executive producer of the Korean Music Festival, expressed his appreciation for YesStyle, saying, "We are thrilled to have YesStyle back as a sponsor for Korean Music Festival 10. It’s only with the partnership of sponsors such as YesStyle that the Korean Music Festival could reach 10 years at the Hollywood Bowl. YesStyle’s persistent dedication plays an important role in the growth and development of Asian culture in America."
