Europe’s largest digital marketing event is hailed a major success year after year, with thousands of visitors flocking to the prestigious occasion from all over the world. Last year an estimated 12,000 guests attended, attracted by the prospect of seeking information about all the latest IT, digital and online technology updates, and this year was no exception. Influential business owners and guests from all corners of the globe turned up in their droves to share and present ideas about online business.
The event’s 20th anniversary was a particularly special one for SEO Positive, the Essex-based online marketing agency, being the official sponsors of the Search Theatre. With a larger exhibiting stand located centrally next to the main Networking Bar, the team worked hard during the weeks leading up to Internet World, to prepare themselves for the extra attention they expected to receive. With visitors and enquiries from such a variety of different businesses, the team held important discussions with some major brands throughout the three days.
What really set 2012’s event apart from previous years for the search experts at SEO Positive, however, was the addition of three presentations held by representatives of the company. Their talks held at the Search Theatre and the Digital Marketing Solutions Theatre were all deemed a fantastic success. Matt Wood, Head of Search at the online promotion company hosted two presentations, both of which attracted numerous visitors. In particular his second talk, “How to create and manage ROI-driven integrated search strategies”, was highly anticipated and received some of the best reviews of the entire event.
Danny Hall, Head of Sales at SEO Positive also presented his speech, “Google Plus for your business: tips and techniques”. Held at the Search Theatre, Danny’s talk was so popular that an estimated 150 people had to be turned away. Ben Austin, Managing Director at the Chelmsford-based firm explains why he is so happy with the outcome of this year’s exhibition.
“With a larger stand, better location and some really successful presentations, we were fortunate enough to receive a number of really promising enquiries”, Ben claims.
During the coming weeks, SEO Positive will be following up some of these requests, and are looking forward to attending other industry events throughout the year.
