Open Access Technology International, Inc. (OATI) is pleased to announce a decade of successes and milestones for OATI webTag.
OATI webTag has created and processed 28 million e-Tags since the launch of NERC e-Tagging Version 1.7 in 2002. These e-Tags have accounted for 11 billion MegaWattHours of electrical energy across the North American power grid, resulting in more than $500 Billion in electrical energy transactions.
e-Tags are now an integral element of physical scheduling and logistics throughout all of North America. This includes trading, scheduling, congestion management, and Real-Time reserve sharing, plus more. As a result, e-Tags are considered a cornerstone to the scheduling performed by hundreds of staff every day.

I thank our customers for their support and trust in OATI, NERC and NAESB for their influence and coordination, and the many members over the years on the e-Tag committees. I recognize the tremendous effort it has taken to achieve these milestones,” said Dr. Sasan Mokhtari, OATI President & CEO.
