The U.S. Immigrant Investor Program (“EB-5”) is a federal program that grants an employment-based immigration visa known as an EB-5 green card. Overseen by the US Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS), the Program provides an opportunity for foreign nationals who are accredited investors to become conditional permanent residents for a period of two years upon making an investment of $500,000 in a qualifying project that will create at least ten new, direct or indirect jobs for U.S. workers. EB-5 investors must submit an immigration application to USCIS with a comprehensive business plan that is “sufficiently detailed to permit the USCIS to reasonably conclude that the enterprise has the potential to meet the job-creation requirements” of the program. Permanent residency is obtained provided the investor submits an immigration application demonstrating that the requisite jobs were created.

As we begin our second quarter-century, we remain committed to the business philosophy and core values that served us so well during our first 25 years, and to continue to build on the extraordinary track record we have established,” said CanAm Enterprises CEO Tom Rosenfeld.
