As their services continued to expand, Creative Sign Designs required a way to access all its data that was more effective than a spreadsheet.

Customer Dynamics, a Microsoft Gold Certified partner and provider of customer-centric CRM solutions, releases a new case study detailing the work performed for Creative Sign Designs. The project involved creating a custom solution that fit the company’s individual needs and migrating important data from an on-site system to a more effective Internet-based application.

Creative Sign Designs is a full-service, architectural design firm based in Tampa, Florida that works with their clients to provide everything from the initial concepts through design, manufacturing and even on-site installation. While the company has been in business for 25 years, they expanded into a full-service agency only five years ago. This required a different managerial strategy to continue providing services and generating revenue.

The company conducts many promotions at tradeshows and other industry events, and has built a large prospect and client database through its activities. However, as the services were expanded, the company required a way to access all its data that was more effective than a spreadsheet.

Creative Sign Designs originally went with ACT, but it was an on-premises version with limited sales management and forecasting capabilities. They replaced that system with Microsoft Dynamics Online CRM and used Customer Dynamics for the implementation. Customer Dynamics had the necessary experience to migrate data from ACT into Microsoft’s solution.

Initially, Creative Sign Designs did not need to implement the full CRM suite and so Customer Dynamics was able to focus on the sales and marketing part of the business. Creative Sign Designs will be doing additional work related to reporting and metrics, ERP integration, and implementation of service cases in the future.
