Kuni Lexus of Colorado Springs will sponsor a community recycling event on Saturday April 28, 2012 at UCCS (Parking Lot 12, across from University Village Shopping Center) between 10 AM and 2 PM.
BlueStar Recyclers, American Tire Exchange, Southern Colorado Recyclers, Waste Management and Western Scrap Processing, in conjunction with UCCS, El Paso County and Colorado Springs Utilities will offer recycling services for: electronics, latex paint (limit 30 gals per vehicle), mattresses (limit 1 per vehicle), tires (limit 4 per vehicle), household recyclables (cardboard, plastics, glass, aluminum, newspaper, etc.), fluorescent light bulbs and batteries.
Recycling fees are $5 per vehicle (cash or check only). For a complete list of accepted materials, limitations and other event information call 719.464.4285.
