OEM/supplier relationship to be explored in executive panel at Florida’s premier event for medical device manufacturing firms

Thomas Black, Vice President, B. Braun OEM and International Divisions Sales and Marketing (http://www.bbraunoem.com), will be part of a panel of medical device executives discussing supply chain integrity in the OEM/supplier relationship at the Florida Medical Device Symposium, April 30-May 1, St. Petersburg, Fla.

Black will be joined on the May 1 panel by an attorney who completes agreements between suppliers and manufacturers as well as an FDA compliance officer who will discuss risk sharing and shifting and how the FDA expects OEMs to manage and monitor suppliers.

Black is responsible for overseeing the sales and promotion of the B. Braun OEM Division’s products and services. He has over two decades of experience in the OEM industry with B. Braun. He is frequently requested as a speaker about trends and management issues at medical device conferences. Black works closely with customers and helping them meet their strategic challenges through contract manufacturing and project management solutions. He holds a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Marketing from the University of South Carolina and a Medical Marketing certificate from UCLA.
