Element Mobile and the Rafters are sponsoring a benefit concert featuring entertainment by Tuscan Road for the Wisconsin Rapids Boys and Girls Club June 30 at Witter Field, home of the Rafters.

The event will help the Boys and Girls Club raise funds for the organization’s operations and to meet their three key goals for Club members: Academic Success, building Good Character and Citizenship and living Healthy Lifestyles. The Boys and Girls Club’s mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

General admission tickets will be on sale for $10 starting April 30. Tickets purchased prior to June 25 will be entered to win prizes at the event, such as Element Mobile Home Plate Club tickets, phone accessories and more.
General admission seats are located in the outfield of Witter Field. Attendees may bring a blanket or folding chairs to reserve their seats. A VIP section will be designated in center field. The VIP tickets will be sold at $100 for a table of six. The VIP section will include a great view of the stage, two complimentary drink tickets, a sandwich, chips, and your own wait staff.

General admission and VIP tickets can be purchased one of the following ways:

  •     Rafters’ Ticket Box Office Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
  •     Calling the Rafters office at 715-424-5400

Jackie Shea, public relations manager for Element Mobile, said that through sponsoring the event, Element Mobile seeks to give back to the community by providing unique, family-fun activities for the public to enjoy this summer.

“The Boys and Girls Club has established itself as an organization that benefits children in our community. We have a great respect for their efforts,” Shea said. “Giving back to the community through this program is very important to Element.”

Liz Kern, general manager of the Rafters, said that as a host and sponsor for the Tuscan Road concert, the Rafters are excited to be able to bring this unique event to the area.

“An opportunity to be a part of a great event for a wonderful cause is something we are very excited about,” Kern said. “We all feel enhancing the quality of life in Wisconsin Rapids with events like this makes the community so special.”

The concert will be a fun summer activity for the community to enjoy. All ticket proceeds will go to the Wisconsin Rapids Area Boys and Girls Club. Rob Wefel, executive director, says “the Boys and Girls Club is honored to be a part of this event and appreciates the support.”

“It’s great to know that Element Mobile and the Rafters genuinely want to help not only the community, but support other local organizations like the Boys and Girls Club,” he said.
