The BFE Annual Conference offers in-depth scientific presentations (lectures, symposia, paper sessions, and poster) during the scientific program and ongoing education and training in one and two day hands-on clinical and educational workshops (e.g., treatment of ADHD, transforming technostress into technohealth, treatment of sexual disorders, EMG for physical therapy and increased HRV for better health.) The workshops are instructed by internationally recognized clinicians who demonstrate their latest clinical/educational biofeedback treatment approaches. Among the presenters at this year’s conference are Dr. Marek Jantos, Dr. Francois Dupont, Drs. Michael and Lynda Thompson, Dr. Paul Swingle, Dr. Don Moss, Dr. Erik Peper, Marc Saab and Pedro Teixeira.
Submit your proposal for oral presentation or presenting posters for the scientific program. The deadline for submissions for complete symposia proposals is May 20, 2012, and for posters and oral presentations May 30, 2012. Download the submission forms on the BFE Website.
Traveling to This Year’s Location - Rzeszów, Poland
Poland joined the European Union in 2004 so any global aspect of traveling (health insurance, IDs etc.) is the same as in other countries in the European Union. No need for a visa to get to Poland from the US, Canada or other EU countries. Rzeszów is home to over 170,000 inhabitants and the capital of the region that draws another 100,000 population in surrounding areas. Rzeszów International Airport serves Poland's Podkarpacie Province - one of its most beautiful regions. The airport is located in the village of Jasionka. There are several flights a day from Warsaw (45-50 minutes away) or you may travel directly from Frankfurt to Rzeszów. Transportation via courtesy bus is provided from the airport to the conference Hotel Prezydencki. The four star hotel has beautiful workshop rooms, each of which can accommodate 40-100 people. A large room has been booked for the scientific day and will feature equipment for simultaneous translation. Attendees will be provided with earphones and can listen to presentations in English or Polish.
