CPAmerica International is pleased to announce six new Preferred Consultants and Providers that are available to its membership.

CPAmerica International is a national association of independent CPA firms that provides best practices, networking opportunities and access to expert resources to member firms. CPAmerica’s screening processes and Expert Services team ensure that only those that offer authentic value and worthwhile services will engage with members and their clients.

Anthony P. Marshall, attorney with firm Harris Beach P.L.L.C, is a new Preferred Consultant, specializing in New Markets Tax Credit Program, who will be available to CPAmerica members. Marshall is actively engaged in representing economic development agencies, redevelopment authorities, investors, tax exempt economic development organizations and national and regional development firms in various states under the NMTC Program, which provides federal income tax credits for investment in business and real estate development projects in eligible low-income communities.

Brian Mahany, tax partner with law firm Mahany & Ertl, LLC, is a new Preferred Consultant offering varying levels of offshore reporting consultation services, including voluntary disclosures, to CPAmerica member firms and their clients. Mahany has 28 years of experience and served four of those years as Maine’s state revenue commissioner. He has 14 years in government service, including collections, criminal enforcement, and service as an Assistant Attorney General–Tax and as special counsel and advisor on tax policy to the Maine Senate.
