(PRWEB UK) 30 April 2012
Weekend Breaks specialist, Superbreak, has reported an early demand for its theme park and attraction breaks as the early May Bank holiday weekend approaches. Last week, the York based tour operator saw a +31% year-on-year online visitor growth to its theme park and attractions section with Alton Towers, Legoland and the newly added 'Warner Bros. Studio Tour - the Making of Harry Potter' the most popular products viewed. With an expanding portfolio of theme park breaks both across the UK and Overseas, the York based tour operator is confident that it can offer both existing and new clients a range of short breaks to entertain the entire family over the bank holiday this year.
2012 online booking trends for the May Bank Holiday show a shift towards more London based attractions, including Madame Tussauds, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour and the company’s bespoke 'Ultimate London Attraction' break, which offers clients a saving of over 20% on normal adult entry tickets. The break consists of 4 tickets to the London Eye, London Aquarium, London Dungeons and Madame Tussauds, as well as overnight hotel accommodation at a choice of over 250+ great value London hotels. This year’s booking trends show a noticeable difference to last year, where customers opted for more provincial based attractions such as Cadbury World, Legoland and Thorpe Park breaks.
Sales for the company's theme park and attraction breaks for the early May bank holiday are already encouraging with sales into the Warner Bros. Studio Tour - the Making of Harry Potter paticularly encouraging. The tour operator has also been busily expanding its range of great value hotel and ticket packages across the length and breadth of Britain ahead of the Olympics, including a host of popular cultural breaks in Liverpool, historic breaks in Edinburgh and branching out its regional music and theatre break product.
In 2011, thousands of passengers travelled with Superbreak on a theme park and attraction tour with the focus firmly on the UK. The introduction of Eurostar breaks late last year, as well as flights in early 2012 has enabled the company to offer a host of hotel and attraction packages overseas including Disneyland Paris breaks, Sea Life Centre packages and a host of historic walking tours, TV & Movie bus tours, city sightseeing tours and more. Superbreak are also delighted to welcome on board a selection of new UK attractions for 2012, including Oxford Castle Tours, Madame Tussauds Blackpool, Liverpool Shiverpool tours and York's newest attraction 'CHOCOLATE - York's Sweet Story'.
Khalid Amin, Online Marketing Manager at Superbreak, commented: "The start of spring always signifies the beginning of sales into our key theme park and attraction products, this year has been highly encouraging in both traffic and revenue terms with the addition of the Warner Bros. Studio Tour which is proving a bit hit with our customers”.
