The AccuPrice Value Report provides users with an executive level summary of audit data of their facility’s pharmacy, lab and nutrition purchases.

Amerinet Inc., a leading national healthcare solutions organization, announced an update for its AccuPrice® price auditing solution. The update is the addition of a Value Report which provides users an executive level summary of audit data from their facility’s pharmacy, lab and nutrition purchases for the current year-to-date and the prior two years.

According to Curtis Miller, chief information officer at Amerinet, “The new feature will enhance the functionality and value of AccuPrice for its users by simplifying their invoice information from suppliers and/or distributors. In a time where everyone expects technology to get better and make things simpler, the Value Report certainly makes AccuPrice a more useful and efficient solution to achieve price accuracy for Amerinet members.”

Features of the AccuPrice Value Report include:

  • Graphical data summaries which provide a visual presentation and high level overview of purchases
  • Underlying content of the chart data that enables further analysis with just one click
  • Manager notes section to enhance communication between the assigned Amerinet program manager and the user
  • Custom Group Reports allowing users to elect to receive one Value Report containing various facilities within an IDN and/or multiple Value Reports specific to a facility

The AccuPrice Value Report feature identifies total spend, items with unfavorable price variances and no exceptions, special charge categories, top manufacturers where price variances occurred and a price drift report to identify items where prices changed. Users are electronically notified on a quarterly basis when their updated Value Reports are available to view and download from the AccuPrice Value Report online portal.

"Amerinet is always thinking of our members and how we can offer them smarter ways of managing costs at their facilities,” said John Grimm, vice president, Information Systems and Technology at Amerinet. “AccuPrice provides the analysis needed to improve margins and billing efficiency and identify savings opportunities at their facilities.”
