Fresh ingredients, innovative recipes and fun menu design offers a new twist on a Gaslamp Quarter favorite.

Whiskey Girl, where San Diego goes to dine, dance, drink and enjoy live entertainment has launched a revamped, expansive new menu that will appeal to a wider array of casual diners and Gaslamp Quarter nightlife-goes alike.

Chef and Restaurateur Brad Anderson, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, was brought in as a consultant to create a fresh and fun menu that encompasses Whiskey Girl’s energetic atmosphere and new design elements. "My goal was to create original menu items to help elevate the venue out of the shadow of bar-food and become a relevant dining location to a more diverse crowd of ever changing Gaslamp Quarter patrons,” said Brad Anderson.

The contemporary menu features high quality fresh ingredients, vibrant flavors, unexpected textures and unique food combinations. “We wanted everything on this menu to reflect Whiskey Girl’s new image; a pop-art inspired, casual and fun atmosphere,” said Chief Operating Officer David Schiffman. Several signature dishes suggested by the Chef are:

Whiskey Burger- Whiskey basted ½ lb. Angus beef burger topped with cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon, Philly sirloin steak, sautéed onions and mozzarella cheese on a Whiskey Girl “branded” bun – served with a shot of Jack Daniels. Must be 21 or older to order – No Kidding.

Seared Ahi Salad- Sesame ginger crusted seared Ahi, served rare, spring mix greens, julienne vegetables and tomatoes tossed with sesame ginger vinaigrette.Suggested Pairing; Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay

Santa Fe Tostada Burger- Angus beef burger, Chorizo, pepper jack cheese, crispy tortilla, avocado, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, red onion and chipotle mayo on a Whiskey Girl “branded” bun. Suggested Pairing; Blue Moon Belgian White.
