Prescott, AZ (PRWEB) May 01, 2012
Robin Fleck, M.D., founder and Medical Director of Southwest Skin and Cancer Institute and Body Oasis Laser Aesthetics, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bridgid Roth, certified laser technician, to help meet the growing patient demand for dermatology and laser spa services. As administrative assistant, Bridgid is the friendly face who greets and assists patients at Southwest Skin and Cancer Institute. Also a certified aesthetic laser technician who completed her training at the National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona, Bridgid is the newest addition to the team of certified laser techs at Body Oasis Laser Aesthetics. Drawing on her passion and experience as a former wellness spa manager, Bridgid raises the bar in customer service and satisfaction. She is also working toward a degree in nutrition.
“I have always enjoyed helping people, especially with regard to heath and beauty. I know that when I feel good, I look good, and I appreciate a long-term approach to both health and beauty,” remarks Bridgid. Chemical peels and microdermabrasion may produce desirable results in the short-term but are extremely risky and can cause severe damage to the skin in the future. This occurs due to repeated removal of the protective stratum corneum which blocks harmful ultraviolet rays, the causative agent in skin cancer.
In contrast, lasers work with the body to rejuvenate and repair aging and otherwise compromised skin. In just one treatment, the Active FX laser can quickly and easily reverse sun damage and restore the skin to a more youthful appearance and function. Repeat treatments are not necessary. Laser skin rejuvenation stimulates the skin to actually improve itself from within while it creates its own essential collagen and elastin.
Laser hair removal has soared in popularity over the past few years. Men and women of all backgrounds are seeking to improve their appearance with permanent hair reduction. Any part of the body can be successfully treated, including the face, arms, legs, back, and bikini. Body Oasis boasts the latest in quick, painless hair removal for people of all ethnic backgrounds.
The popularity of injectable youth-restorers like Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, Restylane, and Radiesse is on the rise due to their ability to almost instantly take years off your appearance following a 30 minute, lunch-hour treatment. Aging skin is affected by overuse of underlying muscles, and this is where Botox comes in. Botox has prolonged muscle-relaxing activity which results in reduction of frown lines (also known as the “11s”) and other wrinkles on the skin. Botox injection in Prescott is increasingly being used as a popular anti-wrinkle solution that softens lines while creating a natural look. In addition to its aesthetic benefits, Botox also has many medical uses. Botox treatments in Prescott are commonly used for reducing horizontal forehead lines, pebbly chin, crow's feet, sagging neck, migraine headaches, TMJ syndrome, and even hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
Patients at Southwest Skin and Cancer Institute have the advantage of learning how to take care of their skin through the latest in laser and rejuvenation treatments, dermal injections, and clinically-proven natural skincare. Dr. Fleck takes time to educate her patients about a simple yet powerful skincare regimen which utilizes freshly-activated antioxidants for superior healing and protection. Active Vitamin C topical serum has been clinically shown to block harmful UVA and UVB rays more effectively than conventional sunscreens, therefore preventing premature aging and skin cancer. Fresh Vitamins C and E serums also effectively treat skin conditions ranging from acne, rosacea and eczema. Applying active antioxidants in proper concentrations directly to the skin can produce noticeable improvement in the skin’s tone, texture, and overall appearance in as little as two weeks. Unfortunately, most Vitamin C skincare products found in department and grocery stores have lost their efficacy as L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) quickly becomes unstable once it's in solution. Sensitive to heat, light and oxygen, Vitamin C's potency lasts only about a month. This is why Dr. Fleck uses only fresh, activated antioxidant products for her patients and her own skin.
“Dr. Fleck is dedicated to her practice and her patients, and she’s on the cutting edge of learning about and utilizing the newest technologies and advances in skincare and healthcare,” notes Bridgid. “She's up to minute with the latest and best ways to treat varicose veins and spider veins as well. She brings decades of experience to her patients, and it shows.”
