Miss Kristin releases another potent contemporary offering of exclusive music. “Masterpiece” is the title of the next collection of songs from Miss Kristin and Big Fuss Records Inc., to be released June 2012.

“Masterpiece” features 11 new songs from the storyteller, Miss Kristin where she provides vocal emotion mixed with hope and heartache in her own personal production. Kristin has come into maturity as an accomplished songwriter, with over ten years in the music business of creating, producing and manufacturing new contemporary AAA mainstream music for retail audiences. She has composed a large catalog of nearly 2000 songs and is diligently presenting her material as collections. Kristin reveals a resound sense of purpose in leaving her legacy.

Miss Kristin gains inspiration for her music by drawing from a number of sad and sometimes tragic life experiences. But her music is by no means morose; rather it carries with it a distinct passion for the emotional and social well-being of others. In some ways, her music gravitates toward the folksy and spiritual, and she has a genuine and uniquely beautiful voice reminiscent of Janis Joplin and other heroines of the modern music era. On "Masterpiece" Kristin has assembled together a moving set of her favorite original songwriting material, and plays most all of the instruments herself.

Kristin’s music is at times uplifting and inspirational, emotional and raw. The music begs one to consider, what is it that motivates a human being? Money and passion, or lending a healing touch to another soul?    Her lyrics spread a blanket of hope over whoever is fortunate enough to examine her songs and listen for the meaning behind the words.

At the heart of Miss Kristin’s musical cause, is the strong will and desire to bring healing and comfort through song, to her listeners. It is not hard to understand why her musical style is magnetic. Kristin thrives on revealing truth, and bringing the positive out of the negative and the light out from darkness. Nowhere is this more apparent than on the song “The Brutal Darkness” from "Masterpiece" where Kristin sings, “Thankful like the Cherokee for what we have, is all that will ever be, to save us and stand, against the brutal darkness”.

“Masterpiece” comes on the heels of “The Elephant Groove” which has garnered wide acclaim at radio in many countries around the world as well as independent community and commercial radio stations throughout the United States.
