There are customer service and cost-saving benefits, too, according to Seymour. “If a client has a question about a subcontractor fee we billed, we can quickly go into the system, find the subcontractor’s invoice and see the billing detail. With our old system, we had paper invoices filed away offsite and it could take quite a while to locate the correct invoice. With CCG Payables Approval & Tracking, we don’t need to save paper invoices, so it eliminates the cost of offsite storage.” Another attractive benefit, Seymour said, is that the paperless process supports the firm’s sustainability efforts.
