We selected The Levinson Tractenberg Group based on their talent at creating smart ad campaigns for NYC clients.

SpareRoom.com, the UK's top site for apartment sharing, has chosen The Levinson Tractenberg Group to handle creative development, media planning and media buying for their launch into the U.S. marketplace.
The London-based company was founded in 1999 and SpareRoom now boasts over 2.5 million registered users. The site is one of the UK's 10 busiest real estate sites and has garnered a reputation for being the fastest, easiest and safest way to find a share in an apartment.
The U.S. marketing campaign will initially focus on the NYC market with outdoor, print, viral video, guerilla and online components.
"Starting in New York is the logical choice for us," explains SpareRoom director Matt Hutchinson. "It's the most intense real estate environment in the country, if not the world. We look forward to meeting the challenge and helping people of all ages find the rooms they need in a safe and efficient environment."
"We selected The Levinson Tractenberg Group based on their talent at creating smart and memorable campaigns for NYC clients. We were impressed by the work they showed us and their enthusiasm for our service. They immediately understood what we were trying to achieve and what sets SpareRoom apart from other roommate sites."
The Levinson Tractenberg Group is known for their stellar work on brands both local and national, including Manhattan Mini Storage, Gotham Comedy Club, Chubb Insurance and the law firm Trolman, Glaser & Lichtman.
"Up until now, most people find roommates and rooms for rent on craigslist. That works but is such a hassle. SpareRoom.com has advanced search options that let you sort by neighborhood, price and even lifestyle. So you can get to the rooms and roommates that are right for you much faster. Life in New York City is hard enough without having to sift through all kinds of dead ends and weirdos on craigslist," says Joel Tractenberg, partner at The Levinson Tractenberg Group.
"While SpareRoom is new to the U.S. it is far from being a startup. They offer an incredibly robust service that has built a huge following in the UK. With some fresh, edgy work to introduce it to the market we are confident we can help them own the category," elaborates Joel Levinson, partner at the ad agency.
The campaign is scheduled to launch in the second quarter of 2012.
