Proceeds of sales will benefit women in war-torn countries

Women for Women International (WfWI) announced today it had joined forces with the renowned Space NK store to launch an exclusive perfume together, “In Peace.” 10% of net profits from the sale of each bottle will go directly to Women for Women’s sponsorship program which supports women survivors of war to enable them to rebuild their lives. In making the announcement, Women for Women International COO Andree Simon said, “We are so grateful to the vision of Space NK founder Nicky Kinnaird for agreeing to partner with us and promoting ‘In Peace.’ Fragrance has the ability to capture attention in the most subtle of ways, and this perfume will really help make a difference to the women we serve in drawing awareness to their plight.”

The long-term vision for “In Peace,” is that it will become a top tier lifestyle brand that promotes peace through business and trade. The profits from the sales will be invested in WfWI’s Life Skills training program in 8 war torn countries including Afghanistan, and Iraq. It is through this 12-month program that women have access to business training, including vocational skills, entrepreneurship and financing a business. They also receive training to help them deal with the social and emotional consequences of war.

Nicky Kinnaird, founder of Space NK said, “When it comes to charitable initiatives I am very careful that our associations are heartfelt and genuine. I don’t believe in getting involved unless you can make a real difference and with IN PEACE we have the opportunity to do just that. I felt a natural affinity with the work of Women for Women International when first approached about partnering for the launch of IN PEACE. Women have a great ability to build connections that ultimately make great things happen.”
In 1993, beauty entrepreneur Nicky Kinnaird founded the luxe boutique Space NK.
