Tegrit Group CEO, Michael M. Spickard is named to Board of Directors of Cobalt Community Research.

As a national 501c3 nonprofit coalition, Cobalt’s mission is to provide research and educational tools that help schools, local governments, retirement funds and other nonprofit member organizations thrive as changes emerge in the economic, demographic and social landscape. About Mike Spickard
Michael M. Spickard, EA, MSPA, COPA, CPC, QPA is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Tegrit Group. As CEO, he is involved in business development, strategic direction, allocating resources, and planning for long-term organizational needs. Mike has extensive experience in actuarial consulting and plan administration in the retirement plan industry.
Mike co-founded Summit Retirement Plan Services, Inc. (now Tegrit Group) in 1996 after working with Charles Schwab Retirement Plan and the Goodrich Corporation.
In May 2007, Mike was appointed by the Department of Treasury to the Advisory Committee on Taxation (ACT) – Employee Benefits Group. The purpose of the ACT is to allow the IRS to receive regular input from the private sector with respect to the development of administrative policy and procedures of the Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division. Mike served on the ACT until June 2010. Upon his departure, Mike was awarded the Commissioner’s Award, which is the highest honor the Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division can bestow, for serving with distinction, his dedication and exemplary service.
Mike graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Mathematics.
