Ms. Weingard and Dr. Jeffrey Rosen, (Medical Director Clinical Research of South Florida) presented on a range of related topics, including dual enrollment statistics, the professional research subject's impact on clinical research data, research subject safety, clinical trial research subject databases, and VCT’s web-based system.
The conference, organized by IIR explored innovative strategies and creative approaches to over 1500 clinical ops and outsourcing executives. In 2012, Partnerships in Clinical Trials experienced a fifteen percent increase in trial sponsors attending. The informational session, co-presented by Ms. Weingard, entitled, “The Professional Research Subject and the Effect on Clinical Trial Data” took place on Thursday, March 6, at 10:15 a.m. The presentation given by Ms. Weingard and Dr. Rosen was attended by a significant number of Pharmaceutical and Contract Research Organization representatives. Dr. Rosen remarked, “We were thrilled by the lengthy question and answer period indicating the true concern and interest of the growing problem of dual enrollment.”
