Great Expectations President, John Meriggi, officially announces Tammy Smith as the new Phoenix Center Director.
Smith left her Boston roots to come to Arizona in 1991. She got her start with Great Expectations in 1998 as part of the Marketing Department. This is the third promotion that Smith has received with the company, as she has also worked as the Assistant Manager and Manager of the Marketing Department.
Smith has also had the rare advantage of working in every department at her center. “I have worked with the Marketing Team, as our Photographer, and as a Member Service Representative. I have continued to stay very hands on with the Member Service Department. I know how each department runs: what methods work and what needs improving,” said Smith. This has helped Smith develop her staff to work together as one team moving toward the same goal: Successful and Happy Members.

Smith’s top priority is not only to provide more customer service, but quality customer service for the members. She's working to become interactive with the members so she knows all of them by name, and they know hers as well.
“The entire staff and I are always accessible. We all attend the events and the members know where to find us. As members are coming in for their orientations, they meet with the staff so they know who they will be working with. I cannot promise they will all fall in love, but I can promise that they will have a quality team diligently assisting them in their quest to find love and companionship in today’s challenging dating environment,” said Smith.
Smith knew that for Phoenix to become one of the top centers for Great Expectations, she needed a staff that was going to stand behind her, which is exactly what she has found in the Member Services team.
“Ashley, Kristin, and Lynea are great. Always willing to take that extra step to help the members however they can. These girls are truly a blessing to this center.” said Smith.
Smith, and her entire Phoenix team, are continuing to set themselves apart from the dating service pack, and are striving to become the place that Phoenix singles turn when looking for that special someone.
