The Ford Focus Eco Boost

Ford is undeniably leading the way in the C-segment with this new engine

Hendy Ford is delighted to announce that the new Ford Focus 1.0 litre EcoBoost is now available to test drive at all of Hendy’s Ford locations. There is no petrol-engined rival that can match this car for emissions or fuel consumption – no wonder many customers are swapping the Focus 1.6 for the new Focus EcoBoost 1.0.

The new 1.0 litre EcoBoost petrol engine delivers 100PS or 125PS – the power expected from a 1.6 litre engine. It uses 20% less fuel than a conventional petrol engine. In fact, for fuel-efficiency, its figures are comparable with a diesel!

The upshot of all this is that the new engine should deliver substantial savings compared to the existing 1.6-litre Focus. The efficient engine means free car tax for the first 12 months rising to £20 per year and £30 per year for the 97bhp and 123bhp engines respectively – buyers can expect to save £115 in tax in the first year, and £95 or £85 under current regulations every year after!

“This new engine is a game changer! It is extraordinary how this smaller engine can still deliver so much power, but be economical at the same time. We are urging current customers of the 1.6 litre engine to test drive the 1.0 Eco Boost engine to see for themselves how good it is.” Commented New Car Sales Director Mark Busby.

“Ford is undeniably leading the way in the C-segment with this new engine and are estimating this could take around a 30% share of the Focus market. This is the perfect powerful, yet economical car for a family and we definitely believe the hype – less is definitely more!” concluded Busby.

All Hendy Ford locations are offering this new car at an unbelievable offer of £15,995 (including £1,000 deposit contribution) at 0% APR. To find out more about this fantastic offer or to book a test drive, contact a Hendy Ford dealership today:
