Warner Pacific College 3rd Annual President's Tea & Scholarship Auction overwhelming success. Almost $50,000 in support raised to benefit the school's Act Six Leadership & Scholarship Initiative.

The money raised from the tea and auction provide scholarships and an educational advantage for these students preparing them to be the next generation of leaders who will engage the complexities of a constantly changing world.

Warner Pacific College held their 3rd Annual President’s Tea and Scholarship Auction, on April 14 raising almost $50,000 in support for the school’s Act Six Leadership & Scholarship Initiative. Dr. Arloa Sutter, executive director of Breakthrough Urban Ministries located in Chicago, Illinois, was the speaker at this year’s event.

Dr. Andrea P. Cook, President of Warner Pacific, deemed the event an “overall success” and said the school is committed to creating educational opportunities for students who would otherwise not have the means to attend college. “The money raised from the tea and auction provide scholarships and an educational advantage for these students preparing them to be the next generation of leaders who will engage the complexities of a constantly changing world.”

Founded in 1937 in Spokane Washington as Pacific Bible College, Warner Pacific College is an urban Christ-centered liberal arts college located in the heart of Portland, Oregon dedicated to providing a diverse student body of 1,600 students an education preparing them for the spiritual, moral, social, vocational and technological challenges of the 21st century.
