The launch of Foresight brings a broadcast-quality business show to the internet designed to "shake the dust from the economy"

With jobs still very much on everyone’s mind, Why Communications, a 22-year-old award-winning boutique agency with roots in interactive edutainment, wants to help.

Why Communications, the creative team behind the market-leading BrandU® business development training programs, today announced the launch of an innovative, high production-value, web-based entrepreneur show with mass market appeal called “Foresight.”

“We’re well into four years of economic malaise,” says Kim Castle, the co-creator of BrandU®, “and the Obama administration and the Republican nominees seem to believe that simply ‘talking it to death’ will make it go away. The coming election looks to be about making people resent success instead of inspiring it, so we are out to remind people that sitting on your hands and waiting for things to get better is not what made America strong in the past. We have always been about empowering those who create independent business. Foresight will help.”

“Foresight” profiles the entrepreneurs who are making things happen—in their business, in their community, in the world. From up-and-comers to established industry leaders to today’s business icons, Why gets them to open up about their journey and share insights about their success. Along the way, the audience will learn how they think, what motivates them, and how they get stuff done.

The show is the brainchild of Castle and her longtime partner W. Vito Montone. It capitalizes on the pair’s twenty-odd years of experience in producing edutainment content for such companies as Disney and Paramount, news and art-related television for a CBS affiliate, and education for Intention Products, LLC, the distributor of the BrandU® products.

“We will interview and profile notable entrepreneurs, unsung entrepreneurial heroes, and everyday business owners,” says Castle, “so our viewers can increase their ability in predict their futures. Wisdom that can save us time and money knows no bounds.”

The company will be releasing a series of “Foresight” shows throughout 2012 in support of a campaign to “shake the dust from the economy,” as Castle put it. With small businesses representing 99.7% of all employer firms and generating 65% of net new jobs for the past 17 years running, Castle and Montone are tapping into a very powerful engine that both of them feel has been overlooked.

“We’ve always believed in just pitching in and getting it done,” says Montone, “and it is time for broadcast-quality business shows on the web.”
