Deborah brings an extensive skill set that is a perfect fit for our approach. We feel her depth of expertise and range of experience will resonate with our current customer base, while allowing for room to nurture new clientele.
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) May 02, 2012
Precise, Inc., a trusted provider of eDiscovery solutions and trial services, today announced the hire of Deborah Cook, Esq., who has joined Precise as the director of legal solutions. In this role, Cook will collaborate with clients to ensure the cultivation and delivery of comprehensive, fitting trial and eDiscovery solutions. The addition of Cook as director of legal solutions demonstrates Precise’s continued expansion in the industry, particularly in the Midwest and Northeast corridor.
Cook brings nearly 20 years of experience serving the legal community to her new role with Precise. Cook’s most recent six-year stint as law firm consultant with West, a Thomson Reuters business, afforded her opportunities to acquire, retain and grow a client base in the small- to mid-sized law firm market by providing on-site product demonstrations, CLE seminars and expert consultation with firms and government clients—assets that will directly complement Cook’s role as legal solutions director.
Precise’s CEO, Peter L. Mansmann, Esq., states, “Deborah brings an extensive skill set that is a perfect fit for our approach to offering legal solutions. We feel her depth of expertise and range of experience will resonate with our current customer base, while allowing for room to nurture new clientele.”
Prior to her tenure at West, Cook held two associate positions with Pennsylvania law firms before earning the chief counsel seat at Conestoga Title Insurance, where she oversaw and managed regulatory compliance matters and underwriting real estate transactions across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, New Jersey and New York. Cook has also instructed courses at Pennsylvania State University within the College of Business and Continuing Education programs. After graduating from Clark University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in both psychology and economics, she studied at the Dickinson School of Law, now known as the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University, where she earned her Juris Doctorate.
Cook has been admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, the United States District Court of the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court of the District of Tucson, Arizona. Cook also holds memberships to the York County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.
