Syracuse, New York (PRWEB) May 03, 2012
The agreement, starting today, allows the NYSBA to offer OnRoute's BreadKrum Trail software platform to members of the association for trial and review. The BreadKrum Trail is the first hyper-local mobile software platform specifically designed for integration with media organizations. BreadKrum gives media organizations the ability to create and deliver localized electronic trails of information and money saving offers. The “Krum” or offers help businesses large and small connect with smart shoppers and contains all elements main stream consumers demand to maximize the mobile experience; including high-resolution video, social media sharing, and personalization through category choice.
“We designed this application for us as owners and managers. As lifelong broadcasters, we wanted to create a solution that will successfully compete in the mobile space. Given the growth rate of the mobile industry, it will generate a new revenue stream for many media organizations, provide real results for advertisers, and establish real value to the end users” says Shane Bogardus, Co-founder of OnRoute.
“We are pleased to introduce the BreadKrum mobile application platform to our member stations, as part of the NYSBA’s “Digital Incubator Program”. Our “Incubator” concept allows broadcasters to try new
digital concepts at no financial risk to their stations. It’s another example of how our Member Service Program can help stations increase their digital revenues”, said David Donovan, President of the New York State Broadcasters Association.
The BreadKrum Trail mobile app is currently available on Google Play (Android Marketplace) and Itunes for Iphone.
