Preston Kelly and Regions Hospital collaborated to develop a new website for the prominent St. Paul hospital. The completely redesigned site provides useful and engaging content for hospital patients and their guests, including patient testimonial videos, helpful information about Regions specialty care teams and an online gift shop.
“In addition to providing a valuable resource of information to our patients, we are excited to have a site that will attract multiple types of users to the expertise available on our site,” says Heidi Conrad, chief financial officer of Regions Hospital. “Family and friends of patients can quickly find maps and other accommodations, caregivers can research the hospital and medical professionals and graduates can make career decisions.”
The Preston Kelly and Regions team conducted more than 20 one-on-one interviews with individual care specialty areas at the hospital, analyzed nearly one hundred local and national hospital and healthcare sites, and met multiple times a week for more than six months.
“This was an exciting project because we wanted to provide a great user experience while delivering potentially complicated health care information – all in a way that showcased the Regions Hospital brand,” says Peter Tressel, interactive creative director at Preston Kelly. “The key to getting it right was a deep commitment to collaboration from start to finish.”
The Regions website redesign is the latest project Preston Kelly has completed with the hospital’s parent company, HealthPartners. Other efforts include advertising campaigns for Regions, campaigns for HealthPartners insurance and clinics, and ongoing marketing support for virtuwell.com, a revolutionary online clinic concept developed by HealthPartners.
