A first in the gaming industry, Airport Scanner promises to make Airport Security - fun.

Airport Scanner makes airport security fun.

Curious about what it would be like to sit behind that XRAY machine at the airport and electronically sift through personal affects for a day? Airport Scanner, a game for iPhone/iPad, answers the calling for all of the wanna-be baggage scanners out there to join the TSA and help protect the skies.

At the center of Airport Scanner, released May 1 2012 on the App Store by the Kedlin Company, is a life-like XRAY scanning super machine that the player controls to scan bags for illegal items such as meat cleavers, ice skates, bomb components and liquids in containers larger than 3.4 ounces. The game features dozens of real TSA prohibited items the player must quickly detect to get flights out on time.

Airport Scanner is a true first in the gaming industry, never before has a ‘game’ been made of airport security. “Our goal is to create unique games out of everyday life experiences that are fun and interesting,” says Ben Sharpe, a co-creator of the game, “Airport Scanner is a game concept that hasn’t ever been done before.”

The next time you’re stuck in the security line, we recommend whipping out your iPhone, downloading Airport Scanner and watch time fly as you have more fun than ever thought possible in a security line playing Airport Scanner!
