Kinematics Manufacturing, Inc., the world’s largest slewing drive manufacturer, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ken Barry as Chief Executive Officer. Formerly a consultant in the solar technology field, Mr. Barry directed revenue growth and profitability by evaluating markets, applications, technologies and manufacturers for companies worldwide, including Veeco Instruments, Inc., and Sony Materials Research Corporation.

“The addition of Mr. Barry is crucial to the global expansion of the Kinematics brand,” says founder Brent Morgan. “Ken brings extensive knowledge about the solar technology industry and the markets we’re looking to infiltrate as well as experience in application.”    

In his role as senior executive in the high-tech industry for more than 20 years, Mr. Barry spearheaded multiple start-up manufacturing plants around the world where he increased revenues and profits by coordinating a local presence. He pioneered critical changes within organizations by reducing product design complexity, minimizing expenses, consolidating operations, reconciling and motivating cross-cultural teams, and instilling discipline and accountability. Mr. Barry’s expertise led to significant growth in sales and profitability for companies throughout the United States, Asia and Europe.
