The California All Stars Cheerleading Gym Takes 5 Teams to the USASF World Championships and Returns with 4 Globe Trophies and the Gym Owners of the Year Award.

With the 2011-2012 competitive cheerleading season coming to a close this weekend in Orlando, The California All Stars brought home to the West Coast one first place globe trophy and three second place globe trophies. One of the second place globes is the first ever globe to the state of Nevada.

The California All Stars competitive cheerleading gym headed to Orlando, Florida this past weekend with 5 teams on full paid bids to compete at The USASF World Championships. The teams Included International Open Coed Level 5 “Inspire” from San Marcos, Senior Large Coed Level 5 “Coed” from San Marcos, Senior Small Coed Level 5 “Smoed” from Ventura, Senior Medium All-Girl Level 5 “Aces” from Las Vegas and Senior Small All-Girl “Elite” from San Marcos.

After two days of competing against the best from all over the world, 4 California All-Star Teams Finished in top two spots in their respected divisions. “Smoed’ out of the Ventura gym finished the first day at the top spot and finished the 2nd day also in the top spot earning them the title of, World Champions. “Coed” and “Elite” out of the San Marcos gym both climbed up spots from the first day placements to claim 2nd in the world. The “Aces” representing the 1st year Las Vegas gym walked off the floor in Orlando claiming the silver which also counts as the first ever Globe trophy brought home to the state of Nevada.

Along with the new 4 Globe Trophies, Tannaz Emamjomeh and Jeff McQueen were chosen as The Gym Owners of the Year Award handed out by the USASF. “Starting off the weekend receiving this award was nothing but a blessing for Tannaz and I. I know speaking for both of us, it was an amazing honor and we are both very thankful for what the past 12 years have given not only us, but what hopefully the sport of cheer as has given all the kids that have walked through the doors at CA. I must admit though, it added a bit of pressure to execute the next two days and we did. Bringing home 4 globes is a first for CA and hats off to all our gym’s coaches, kids and parents for an amazing year of hard work, dedication and success.
