Online Training Company Shatters Previous Quarterly Records

"Our first quarter record results is a strong indicator of the increase in demand for easy to deliver online training," said Don Spear, BlueVolt president and CEO.

BlueVolt is pleased to announce record results for its first quarter 2012. Learners enrolled in 138,615 courses, a 59% increase over enrollments in the fourth quarter 2011 and a 64% increase YoY. Learners also earned 147,855 $BlueBucks™, the most ever in a single quarter, up 27% over the previous quarter. BlueVolt added 2,563 new courses in the first quarter, the most new courses added to the Learning Management System (LMS) in a quarter by 58%. The company ended the quarter with 23,219 courses available on the platform.

BlueVolt launched online Universities for two new customers: Coburn Supply and Savant Systems. BlueVolt’s online Universities provide a central hub for customers’ online and offline training efforts which make it easy to train, track and reward employees and participants in the sales channels.

BlueVolt’s unique incentive and rewards program allows learners to earn $BlueBucks as they successfully complete online courses and prove their knowledge. The company is rapidly approaching two million $BlueBucks awarded to its learners. To celebrate the milestone, any learner who completes any online course on the LMS (between now and when the two-millionth $BlueBuck is awarded) is automatically entered into a drawing for a grand prize vacation to the destination of their choice. BlueVolt will award runner-up prizes of 25 $BlueBucks to one random learner from each state in the USA. $BlueBucks are instantly redeemable for virtual gift cards, which are valid at hundreds of online and retail businesses.

“2012 started off with a bang for us,” said Don Spear, BlueVolt president and CEO. “Our first quarter record results is a strong indicator of the increase in demand for easy to deliver online training. We look forward to accelerating this delivery pace throughout the rest of the year as more manufactures, associations, and distributors adopt the convenience and value of online training for their employees and channels.”
