The entire memorable weekend experience is just $399 per couple.
"Mothers deserve more than just one day a year, so we’re devoting a weekend to saying thanks to these special women," said the Lodge’s events coordinator, Jody Fesco.
An “Aveda inspired retreat to wellbeing,” the Woods Spa at the Lodge was erected in 2010 and features a couple’s, single and facial rooms. It also carries critically acclaimed Aveda skin and hair care products lines, which are devoted to environmentally sustainable products with naturally-derived ingredients. Each client is treated in the holistic spirit of Aveda, enveloping revelers in a sea of tranquility. Prenatal massages are available with written authorization from a doctor.
The ever popular Mother’s Day Buffet Breakfast is included in the weekend package and will feature many delicious morning selections, including a buttery fresh baked pineapple Danishes, spinach and roasted pepper strata, Belgian waffles with berry compote and grilled chicken with roasted pepper cream sauce. The breakfast runs from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The Mother’s Day Brunch Buffett will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is $14.95 for adults and $10.95 for kids under 10. Menu items include a succulent baked cod with citrus champagne salsa, seared flat iron steak with mushroom and onion demi-glace and herb blended wild rice.
Moms and their admirers should be sure not to miss the smore martini or the Lodge’s award winning selection of wines with the sinfully heavenly Chocolate Gateau (which is so divine that the gluten will hardly be missed).
