With summer break around the corner, many high school students are ready for a vacation, but summer is more than just fun in the sun – summer is also the best time to build strong college applications and impressive resumes!

For most students, summer is a time of rest and relaxation. But for the most ambitious students, summer is a time to catch up on academics, explore new interests, prepare for college admissions tests, and develop new passions and goals. To help students make the most of their summer break, C2 Education, the nation’s fastest growing network of educational support centers, will host a College Admissions Seminar devoted to summer planning and strategizing.

On Saturday, May 5 from 3 to 5 PM, C2 Education will host a summer planning seminar at Columbia University. During the seminar, speaker Sam Ahn will help students and parents learn how to utilize summer vacation to their advantage.

Mr. Ahn is an educational doctoral candidate at Columbia University and the center director for C2 Manhattan. Prior to joining C2 Education, Mr. Ahn spent ten years as a college and boarding school admissions consultant. His vast experience has taught him the value that can come from a fully utilized summer vacation. “Summer is probably the most crucial time of the year,” Mr. Ahn says, “and it is critical for college applications. I believe that preparing and strategizing for summer vacation can help students immeasurably.”

The seminar will be held from 3 PM to 5 PM on April 21 at Columbia University. Students and parents are welcome to attend this free seminar, but space is limited so please RSVP at (212) 564 - 1003. The room number will be released only to those who RSVP.
