The panel will feature an in-depth discussion on how wireless is changing the way we connect with each other, participate in politics and gather information. Other panel members include Lee Rainie of Pew Research and Julie Germany of DCI Group. Members of the audience will consist of state legislators & regulators, FCC Commissioners and staff, congressional staff, representatives from across the industry and the press.

"Campaign Touch has a deep insight into the mobile industry as it relates to politics,” said Cami Zimmer, President of Campaign Touch. “We look forward to a lively discussion around how wireless, through mobile websites, apps and new media, is changing the face of campaigns and public policy. Technology has changed extensively since 2008. Grassroots messaging in 2012 is about sharing the message with supporters and having them virally send to their peers.”

The International CTIA WIRELESS® 2012 is the premier marketplace for the wireless, telecom and broadband industries. Attendees include 40,000 service providers, manufacturers, developers, retailers, enterprise end-users and the media who meet to discuss the future of wireless.

“Campaigns that embrace wireless technology to reach their audience will see great benefits in 2012,” said Zimmer. “They will see an increase in donations, Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts, viral messaging and voter identification. With 50% of us owning a smartphone, 20% of us owning a tablet and 35% of us not watching live TV, the question is, ‘Why aren’t more embracing mobile technology’? ”
