Aida Ramdani has been an enthusiast of French poetry for years. In her new children’s book Alphabet de la vie pour les Grands et Petits: Alphabet of Life for the Little Ones and Not So Little (published by Trafford Publishing), she shares the art form she has long admired.

“Finally I just decided to take it to the next level,” remembers Ramdani of the moment she decided to write the book. “Why keep it for myself when I can share it?”

In Alphabet de la vie pour les Grands et Petits takes readers through the alphabet with style, charm and humor.

Ramdani explains the book’s layout:

"It’s a French light poetry book with rhymes, starting from the first letter of the alphabet A until the last one Z."

"Each letter inspires a word. Example, A for aimer (love in French), then a small poem about love. I for imagination, N for nature......"

"Some are inspiring, some are funny, some are cute, some are serious – always changing in order to keep the child interested and curious about some life subject"

"Each illustration is inspired by the poem. It was a work of love."

Featuring French and English translations, Alphabet de la vie pour les Grands et Petits presents light, alluring prose on many of life’s simple pleasures.
