Three Fertility Specialists at Arizona Reproductive Medicine Specialists Named Phoenix Magazine’s Top Doctors of 2012

Phoenix Magazine has named all three Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility (REI) specialists at Arizona Reproductive Medicine Specialists (ARMS) in their 2012 Top Doctors issue. Dr. Drew V. Moffitt, co-medical director at ARMS, Dr. Barbara M. Faber, and Dr. Mark D. Johnson were ranked as the top REI specialists in the Phoenix area. The ranking is done on a peer to peer basis and then published in Phoenix Magazine Top Doctors annual issue.

About the Doctors
Dr. Moffitt completed his training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility medicine at the Jones Institute of Reproductive Medicine in Norfolk, Va., an institution that pioneered in-vitro fertilization. A fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Moffitt is board-certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and has been in practice for 18 years. He is an active member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for the scientific journal, Fertility and Sterility. He is the division director of reproductive endocrinology and infertility for the Banner Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center Ob/Gyn Residency. His research has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and he continues to be involved in research to improve the success of infertility treatments.

A fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Faber is board-certified in obstetrics/gynecology, as well as reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She is a member of many societies, including the American Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her interests include all aspects of infertility, as well as endocrinologic disorders affecting reproduction. Dr. Faber has extensive experience in assisted reproductive technologies (in-vitro fertilization), ovulation induction, and endoscopic surgery for the evaluation and treatment of infertility.

Dr. Johnson is the President and Associate Medical Director at ARMS and has practiced reproductive medicine in Phoenix since 2000. His background is unique in that he is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology with subspecialty certification in reproductive endocrinology/infertility, and also is board-certified in medical genetics. His practice with Arizona Reproductive Medicine Specialists (ARMS) encompasses all areas of advanced reproductive medicine and assisted reproductive technologies, including in vitro fertilization, pre-implantation genetic diagnostics, reproductive surgery, recurrent pregnancy loss and reproductive genetics. Dr. Johnson a clinical associate professor at the University of Arizona School of Medicine.
