New Online Interactive Show “Boston Sports Live” Features Commentary from Boston Globe and Award-Winning Journalists, Live Guests and More; Show Launch Sponsored by JetBlue Airways

Boston sports fans now have a new way to get the latest sports news from New England’s largest and top news site with Boston Sports Live, the first live and interactive web program produced by The show will broadcast live on’s homepage at noon every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Archived programs will be available at The exclusive launch sponsor of the show is the city’s largest airline, JetBlue.

Boston Globe and sports columnist Christopher Gasper hosts the 15- to 20-minute show from the Globe’s in-house HD studio. Gasper will provide sports news, commentary and analysis on all Boston sports – Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics, Patriots and more. The program will also include taped segments from the Globe and’s award-winning sports staff in the field, journalists who have been honored over the years by the Associated Press Sports Editors, National Headliner Awards and more. Special live guests will also join the show, ranging from local athletes, managers, coaches and front office personnel, to reporters, pundits and analysts from the sports world.

Boston Sports Live brings the Globe and’s award-winning sports content to life for readers in another format for those who are on-the-go, use digital devices and enjoy video. The show will be highly interactive, allowing users to participate live with questions and comments. The host and guests will field and react to Facebook posts and Tweets with #bostonsportslive. Readers can also submit live questions and comments via an online chat platform. A “JetBlue Question of the Day” will be featured during JetBlue’s exclusive launch sponsorship.
