NU Hotel Brooklyn and House of Art Gallery Celebrate New Partnership with Workshop and Reception on June 9, Featuring Acclaimed Artist Justin Bua and Various Artists

NU Hotel Brooklyn, the borough’s greenest and most artist friendly hotel, is pleased to announce a partnership with House of Art Gallery, a Brooklyn-based fine art gallery. In celebration of the partnership, House of Art Gallery will be presenting a series of events with world-renowned artist Justin Bua on Saturday, June 9, at the hotel.

In celebration of the partnership, House of Art Gallery will be presenting a series of events with world-renowned artist Justin Bua on Saturday, June 9, at the hotel.

Justin Bua, known for his best-selling collection of fine art posters, the most famous of which is “The DJ,” has multiple paintings on display at NU Hotel Brooklyn. In addition to Bua’s work, the hotel will also feature works by Marcus Jansen, Frank Morison, Danny Simmons, Jamel Shabazz, and others. All of this continues NU Hotel Brooklyn’s tradition of celebrating groundbreaking artwork.

NU Hotel Brooklyn’s newly opened sidewalk café and bar will be the location of the all-day celebration on June 9. The day will begin with a children’s workshop from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., led by Justin Bua. The artist will then present his work at 5 p.m. and host a book signing immediately following the discussion. Bua’s most recent book, “The Legends of Hip Hop,” was published last November by Harper Collins. An evening reception will follow at the new bar from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. All of the day’s events are open to the public, but RSVP is required for the evening reception.
