New York's expert marshmallow and bite-size dessert makers Three Tarts have been ahead of the trend for 6 years now since they opened their doors in the Chelsea section of New York City. Recently, their marshmallows have been featured on ABC's Good Morning America, The Chew, and NBC's The TODAY Show and New York Live.
Marshmallows have been identified as one of the hottest food trends of 2012 by everyone from The Food Network to the epicurean experts across the blogosphere.
Three Tarts Bakery & Boutique is a woman owned business started 6 years ago by three graduates of New York's Institute of Culinary Education (I.C.E.). Marla D'Urso, and chefs Sandra Palmer and Kiyomi Toda-Burke were nicknamed the "Three Tarts" by their classmates. An idea was born and co-owner Marina Brolin came aboard to round out the creative team behind the bite-size dessert brand.

Three Tarts marshmallows have also been spotlighted in People Magazine and they have been named a "top ten dessert destination by TimeOut New York Magazine. Their marshmallows take on many different shapes for the seasons and holidays and they feature different flavors in the Fall and Winter but right now the Spring marshmallow menu includes vanilla, raspberry, passion fruit, strawberry-basil, mango and the japanese citrus fruit yuzu,
