The Greater Zurich Area AG will be among the marketing partners of the 2012 European-American Chamber of Commerce (EACC) conference Skilled Labor Workforce: U.S. and European Perspectives on May 16th in Cincinatti, OH. The Swiss location promotion agency will add its expertise to the one-day expo & conference dedicated to “Recapitalizing U.S.’ Skilled Labor Workforce for Economic Prosperity and Global Competitiveness”.

The location marketing and investment promotion agency Greater Zurich Area AG announced today its participation at this year’s annual conference of the European-American Chamber of Commerce (EACC) in Cincinatti, OH, on May 16th.

The expo & conference’s theme is “Skilled Labor Workforce: U.S. and European Perspectives - Recapitalizing U.S.’ Skilled Labor Workforce for Economic Prosperity and Global Competitiveness”. Its focus lies on best practices of building and maintaining a competitive, productive and efficient workforce ahead of a potential surge in manufacturing activity and hiring in the U.S.

Bringing together manufacturing and economic development professionals from the public and private sector in Europe and the U.S., the EACC conference is a great opportunity to join forces on how to develop and maintain a highly skilled and able workforce in the high-tech manufacturing industry of the future.

Anne Cappel, EACC Executive Director said: “At our annual EACC conference, we are providing a platform for community stakeholders to connect and discuss how we can work to grow our skilled labor work force on both sides of the Atlantic.”

His Excellency João Vale de Almeida, Ambassador of the European Union to the United States, will deliver the EACC conference opening remarks via live video conference from Washington DC.
