San Diego, California (PRWEB) May 06, 2012
San Diego String Instruments, the first string instrument retailer in San Diego County to carry a full line of high-level string instruments was established in the heart of San Diego County by professional violinists, Miguel Ramirez and John Ramirez at the onset of 2012. As a grand entrance to the classical music scene, on May 4th, 5th, and 6th, they will be holding an exhibition called Violins from Around the World—an event catered to musicians of all levels, who are interested in harnessing their craft.
“Our goal in holding this event is to introduce musicians within San Diego County to our collection of higher level violins and provide the educational tools in comparing and selecting a quality instrument”, says co-owner Miguel Ramirez, “That’s why we are showcasing handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces from around the world and evaluating them during a brief educational lecture and demonstration for tonal comparison, followed by free time and access to play the instruments and ask questions.”
San Diego Mayor, Jerry Sanders recently called classical music the “heartbeat of our city”. The Violins from Around the World event is a valuable resource available to equip the city’s finest, heart-pumping performers to further excel in the arts, fueling the standard of excellence that keeps the city alive and in the opinion of Mayor Sanders, strengthens the local economy.
