The feature on Inspirationalsportsstories.com went on to state that Tucker told the Peninsula Daily news that that weather played a big part in helping to attract record numbers of riders and spectators to the Dry Hill course. The feature went on to add that Tucker seemed to be delighted with the weather saying it was "As close to perfect as we could have asked for." The fabulous weather also appeared to help bring out the crowds. There were over 700 spectators at the races on the outskirts of Port Angeles, WA
The sports blog site further added that the co-organizers seemed to be pleasantly surprised by number of professional riders who entered the race. Last weekend's races were the second of three race events that are taking place on the Dry Hill course this spring. The third and final race at Dry Hill is set for May 11-13 before the Northwest Cup Championships swing round to the Skibowl at Mount Hood in Oregon.
