Dark chocolate, nuts, flossing, a positive attitude and daylight have all been attributed to better heart health. Dr. Gunnar Sevelius now hopes to bring other heart-saving, life-extending tips to the forefront in his four books geared toward the health conscious.
A jack of all trades, Sevelius is on a mission to extend lifespan and improve quality of life, starting with heart health. With extensive experience in medicine, Sevelius addresses heart health and heart attack prediction, prevention and treatment in An Untold Medical Story, and general health and wellness tips in Add Years To Your Life and Life To Your Years (published by AuthorHouse).
“Some 70-80 percent of all diseases are rooted in our habits and are preventable” says Sevelius. “Having easy access to information about how to prevent disease will give each one of us a chance at a longer and happier life.” Sevelius’ other books discuss first aid (You Are It: First Aid) and history, culture and anthropology (The Nine Pillars of History).
Sevelius hopes to motivate readers to change their health habits in order to change their quality and length of life. His books aim at inspiring readers to increase their longevity by taking control and making specific, strategic life changes to extend and better life.
