Best in Biz Awards, the only independent international business awards program judged by members of the press and industry analysts, today announced the winners in its inaugural competition in Europe, Middle East and Africa. An impressive array of public and private companies representing all sectors of the economy from over 20 countries entered to compete in this year's awards program.

Best in Biz Awards 2012 EMEA winners were selected based on the scoring of a distinguished panel of judges from top-tier newspapers, business and technology publications, as well as broadcast outlets from 11 countries, including (United Arab Emirates), ARD (Germany), Bild (Germany), Branders (Switzerland), Business Breakfast, Dubai Eye 103.8 (United Arab Emirates), Drum Magazine (United Kingdom), Hospodárske Noviny (Slovakia), IAA Magazine (United Arab Emirates), Irish Independent (Ireland), IT Web (South Africa), Jerusalem Post (Israel), Khaleej Times (United Arab Emirates), Micro Mart (United Kingdom), Neue Zürcher Zeitung (Switzerland), (United Arab Emirates), PCM (Netherlands), PC Plus (United Kingdom), The Times (United Kingdom), Web User (United Kingdom), Xbox Plus (Brazil) and 4th String (France). Combined, the 22 judges on this year’s panel have more than 450 years of experience and have written for a total of more than 160 consumer, business, financial, trade and technology publications worldwide.

Best in Biz Awards is now accepting entries in 46 company, department or team, executive and product categories in its second annual program in the U.S. and Canada. New categories for the 2012 program include: Best Place to Work, PR Agency of the Year, Marketing or Advertising Agency of the Year, Nonprofit or Government Organization of the Year, PR Campaign of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Website of the Year, Event of the Year, and Film or Video of the Year. The early entry deadline for Best in Biz Awards 2012 is Jun 29, 2012, with regular entries accepted until Aug 17, 2012.
