Social Media Web Site Adds New Level of Connection for Friends

Share Article offers both fun and serious physical messaging among friends

‘While current social media websites have allowed us to reach more friends, they are impersonal interactions," said Founder, Mihai Antoci, in announcing the launch of Badgety, a one-to-one messaging social media web site. "I wanted to create a website where people can connect on a more personal level to allow me and others to tell people what I like and, sometimes what I don’t like about them."

Badgety is a social media web site with an inventory of ‘badges’ that members can select from to tell their friends things like they are a great cook, or a party animal, or good looking, or even that they are being grumpy. It’s a fun one-to-one way of connecting with friends. Badgety is FREE to everyone.

Badgety members can track badges they have sent as well as badges that they have received. The badges are divided into categories that include: Lifestyle, Personality Traits, Hobbies, Talents & Skills, Appreciation and Behavior Traits.

The badges run the gamut of these categories to cover cooking, BFFs, being a jock, being a nerd, texting too much, being shy, lazy, or a pet lover as well as many other skills, traits, and behaviors you see in your friends and want them to know. If you wish, badges can also be sent anonymously.

Badgety can be accessed directly through its web site or other social media such as Facebook. Mr. Antoci began work on Badgety in 2011 launching this ‘beta’ of the Badgety site in April 2012.
