Chicago, IL (PRWEB) May 08, 2012
School’s out for summer (well almost!) and Kimpton’s Hotel Allegro Chicago is launching a playground of perks to ensure kids are smiling all vacation long. The “Kids Rule” summer program will kick off this Memorial Day weekend and offer a trifecta of kid-friendly freebies, including: Kids Hour, a FUNcierge and a tech-savvy scavenger hunt.
“The summer season is always a busy and exciting travel time for families,” said Allegro’s Hotel Manager Mary Perino-Fleming. “This year we created the ‘Kid’s Rule’ program to provide a value-added and memorable experience for the families staying with us.”
Kids Hour will come alive in the Lobby Living Room from 4 p.m.-5 p.m., every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Kids can feed both their appetites and their minds with the help of a popcorn machine, lemonade stand, Wii and bundles of board games. Following Kids Hour, parents are welcome to mingle at the complimentary Wine Hour, hosted everyday from 5 p.m.-6 p.m. in the Lobby Living Room.
To keep the fun going, parents should make a pit stop at the desk of Hotel Allegro’s resident FUNcierge. Fully equipped with information on the city’s top kid-friendly museums, parks and landmarks, our FUNcierge will provide full itineraries, purchase advanced tickets or make restaurant reservations. At Hotel Allegro, guests feel at home in the city and are encouraged to live like a local; no tourist traps here, just the city’s top spots from our Chicago insiders who know the city best.
Families can also explore Chicago with a scavenger hunt that takes them to the top five must-see Chicago landmarks. To win a special prize for hitting all five attractions, simply tweet photos and include the @KimptonCHI Twitter handle with #AllegroKidsRule.
The “Kids Rule” program runs from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend and is complimentary for all hotel guests. In addition to the “Kids Rule” program, visiting families can continue to take advantage of the Kimpton Kids program offered at all Kimpton Hotels. Kimpton Kids includes a special children’s welcome amenity, a child-size animal print robe for loan or purchase and comment cards just for kids.
