Full Sail University congratulates a total of 51 graduates who worked in various roles on the recent blockbuster film, The Avengers, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. The film was released in theaters on May 4, 2012 and features an ensemble cast including: Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson.
Full Sail University alumni previously worked on the comic based films Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America, with many of these grads and more returning for The Avengers. In total, 51 Full Sail graduates (a record number for a single project), worked in different roles throughout the film’s development, ranging from lead fx technical director to visual effects artists.

The film tells the story of Nick Fury’s quest to recruit Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man and Thor to form a dynamic team in the hopes of stopping Thor's evil brother Loki from enslaving the entire human race.
