TBAN and the Las Vegas technology community have given Unidev a platform where we can voice our expertise as we further integrate into the Nevada technology ecosystem.
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) May 09, 2012
Unidev has solidified their Corporate Membership with Nevada’s premier technology advocacy organization, The Technology Business Alliance of Nevada (TBAN). With a new slate of leadership, TBAN is working hard to proactively foster high-tech growth throughout the state of Nevada. Through monthly events and luncheons, TBAN encourages its members to reach out and advance the technology community together. The online retail powerhouse Zappos and state of the art data center, Switch also participate in TBAN events and have representatives that serve on the TBAN board of directors.
Unidev is enthusiastically jumping on board and demonstrating their commitment to TBAN and to growing the technology industry in Nevada. Unidev hopes to help spread this movement beyond Las Vegas and even beyond Nevada. Steve Thomas the Vice President of Unidev spoke at a March luncheon giving insight on how Unidev navigated the business environment in Las Vegas and quickly became acclimated to the Nevada technology community.
“Innovative technology is the core of our value system here at Unidev. TBAN and the Las Vegas technology community have given Unidev a platform where we can voice our expertise as we further integrate into the Nevada technology ecosystem. Evolving technology continues to change the way we think about doing business.. TBAN shares our perspective, our goals and our culture. We are happy to become a member in order to foster the success of their technology initiatives,” said Steve Thomas.
As Unidev’s Vice President of Web and Mobile Technologies, Cathy Harris will serve as Unidev’s member of record for TBAN. With experience on both Bank of America’s Consumer and Small Business Ecommerce and Mobile division and AT&T’s B2B and B2C solutions, Harris embodies the innovation standards and technology reputation that TBAN and Nevada seek. Unidev and TBAN plan to partner on several large scale initiatives including a campaign for Austin’s South by Southwest Conference (SXSW) in 2013.
“Being new to Unidev, not only am I excited to continue building the company’s already successful platforms, but the partnership with TBAN will bring us more opportunity in Las Vegas, Nevada and the West Coast,” said Harris. “Unidev enjoys community involvement, specifically when it involves technology. Sharing knowledge and seeing the fascination and enjoyment that it brings is truly rewarding.”
